Ramallah – A delegation from Annahda Women’s Association visited Al-Quds Open University in Ramallah on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, where they were welcomed by Dr. Moatasem Zayed and Dr. Inshirah Nabhan.
During the meeting, the association’s president, Ms. Nadia Musleh, gave a presentation to students on the association’s 100-year history and its pioneering role in the community, highlighting initiatives focused on women’s empowerment, educational support, and community engagement. She also outlined the specialized services the association provides for individuals with intellectual and hearing disabilities, including hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, speech therapy, and occupational rehabilitation for the elderly.
The discussion also covered prospects for future collaboration between the association and the university, culminating in an agreement to implement joint projects that align with both parties’ social and developmental goals.
At the end of the visit, the university administration honored Annahda Women’s Association with a commemorative shield in recognition of its outstanding social and humanitarian contributions.
